American Music World, Inc. is a family-owned and operated, full-service, Chicago piano dealer and with our Chicago piano stores located at 7655 w Roosevelt rd in Forest Park and 7727 n Milwaukee ave in Niles. Serving the public has dominated our family's life for over 30 years, since we entered the music business in Chicago in 1979. We have endured for over two generations by being committed to QUALITY in our sales presentations, QUALITY in the merchandise we offer for sale, QUALITY in our after-sales service, and QUALITY in our Music Education programs. Our reputation is outstanding, and we continue to earn it every day! American Music World got its start, 30 years ago, selling, servicing and reconditioning new and used pianos. Today, we are proud to sell new and used piano brands like Pramberger, Yamaha, Young Chang, Steinway, Kawai and Baldwin to name a few and we offer the newest technology in Yamaha digital pianos and Yamaha keyboards. We maintain a full rebuilding shop and offer full rebuilding services-(piano tuning, piano refinishing,and complete rebuilding). Our shop also refurbishes all of our used pianos, giving us complete control over quality. We also maintain an organ repair shop, on premise at our warehouse. In addition, we sell and service Hammond organs and Lowery organs. We are also proud to be one of Chicago land’s largest piano retailer with two locations to serve the public.

While we have been "The" Chicago piano dealer since 1979, we are diversified, receiving income from not only piano sales, but from our large new and used organ department, piano service department, commercial piano rental department, as well from American Music World’s School of Music. Our overhead is paid by this combination of sources allowing us to provide our clients more for less, and still meet our obligations. We also offer the best in service. We use only the “master craftsmen” of the International Piano Technicians Guild for our customers’ in-home service. Our fine reputation is widely acclaimed, even by our competitors!
Today, Chicago dealer American Music World, with our home office on Milwaukee Ave, in Niles IL, and two additional outlets in Chicago’s Macy’s store and Forest Park. Ray Fajmon has been in the business for over 45 years.
