Amanda Compton graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University
in 2007, receiving her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance.Amanda is an experienced teacher, having
taught privately and for the UW-Madison Opera and Voice programs.Amanda has always loved teaching and strives
to instill a passion for music in each of her students.Amanda is currently teaching piano and voice
lessons at American Music World serving the Forest Park, Oak Park and surrounding
area. She has played piano since she was very young, and is also an experienced
singer and performer.Her favorite
roles include Yum-Yum in The Mikado (Madison Savoyards), Mélisande in Pelleas
et Mélisande (UW-Madison), and Rapunzel in Into the Woods
(IWU).She has toured with Prairie Fire
Theater in the cast of The Three Billy Goats Gruff,The
Magic Flute with the Amalfi Coast Music Festival, was the featured soloist
with the UW Little Big Band, originated the role of Lee Krasner in the premiere
of Art and Desire (UW-Madison)in February 2009, and she
performed with the American Institute of Music in Graz this past summer.Amanda just completed her M.M. in Vocal
Performance with Professor James Doing at UW-Madison, and can currently be seen
performing with the Chicago jazz band, “Shout Section.”Amanda is interested in working with
students of all ages and backgrounds and looks forward to hearing from you! performed
Donald Singleton"Piano/Organ/Vocal"
Donald started to play piano and organ at the age of fifteen and studied under some of Chicago's "Great" teachers like Elsa Harris and George Robertson. After completing his Master Piano and Organ courses Donald recieved the "Mr. Gospal Award in 2001. Between raising a family and teaching, Donald has performed in his own musical group, and recorded several Gospel hits that are yet to be discovered. Donald has an incredible amount of professional exerience and is willing to share all of his knowledge with all of his students. Today, Donald is the Minister of Music at Chicago's United Mission of Christ where he plays the piano, organ and directs the choir. With his extensive performing career Donald's goal is to empower all of his studets with the love and knowledge of music.
Angela Latkowski "Great with Kids!" "Piano & Vocal Instructor"
Angela is a Chicago native
and she earned her music degree from Illinois Wesleyan University.
Having discovered a real love of music thru her own experience with
high quality and enthusiastic teachers, her goal to assist in the
sharing of music and fine arts amoungst young people. Angela
is currently teaching music at Christ the King School in Lombard where
she creates and implements the music curriculum for grades K-8. Having
played piano since she was very young, Angela is also an experienced
singer and performer. She currently performs with the Wicker Park
Choral Singers. Angela really enjoys the challenge of instilling a love
of music in all of her students. With her professional and sensitive
demeanor kids really love her.
Darryl Petty "Piano/Organ"
Darryl
Petty
started playing piano and organ at age 6. Darryl grew up
listening to Jazz music and at age 12 started to play at Ressurection
Roman Catholic Church on Chicago's Westside. Darryl attended the
American Conservatory of music and earned his degree in Jazz
orchestration and performance. Having taught piano and organ for over
20 years now, Darryl customizes his lessons to his students tastes and
levels, always emphasizing the fundamentals. Darryl is currently the
Music Coorinator at Holy Trinity Church in Chicago's Gold Coast area.
Blessed with the love of music and with his mothers encouragment, Darryl quickly found that his music performance made a very possitive difference many peoples lives. From classical Bach on a pipe organ to Elton John piano, Darryl is on of the mostdiversly talented keyboard players in Chicago.

Born in the Czech , Jerinareceived the finest in music education and earning two Master Degrees in Education in Europe. One degree in piano and the other in cello.
